The group sales manager made it easy and stress-free to organize my work trip, including several dinners and activities around the hotel. I stayed in February 2026, and the in-room humidifier was especially helpful during the dry winter month. The rooms were spotless and thoughtfully equipped, and the location was excellent. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful at every turn. I also appreciated the winter extras: complimentary s’mores kits and hot chocolate each day, plus free drip coffee each morning. For skiers and snowboarders, the hotel is just a two-minute walk from the lifts. There's also complimentary transportation within the village on a first-come, first-served basis, which was very convenient. I had an excellent stay.

The lobby made a great first impression, with cozy, welcoming decor and lots of thoughtful details. I also loved the evenings outside: free s’mores by the fire pit and complimentary hot chocolate were such a nice touch. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had, and whenever we needed directions to the ski lift and gondola, the staff pointed us toward the short 2 to 3-minute walk. Everyone was friendly and ready to help. I had a lovely stay at The Hythe Resort. I only wish the rooms had the same style as the lobby, but that didn’t take away from the experience.

Elizabeth at the restaurant brought a big smile and wonderful hospitality, and Sean greeted us at the valet and bell stand when we arrived. Debby and Nancy made sure my family got just the right room at check-in. Together, they made this one of our best experiences at a Marriott property. We’ll recommend the Hythe team and are excited to return.

Alex, Devin, and Christian were so sweet and accommodating at the bar. That whole area was fabulous. They deserve a raise, 10/10 recommend.

Management’s response was dismissive, with no meaningful investigation, accountability, or sense of urgency. Being robbed in your own hotel room feels violating, and being treated like it’s an inconvenience instead of a crime is infuriating. The hotel charges over two thousand dollars a night, yet the security felt like a motel’s. I’ve stayed in hotels around the world and never experienced anything like this. We spent three nights at The Hythe Vail and had more than ten thousand dollars’ worth of belongings stolen from our locked room. An Apple Vision Pro, a Chanel bag, and ski goggles were among them. They weren’t left out; they were in zipped bags inside our luggage. The room safe was too small for them, which is unacceptable at luxury prices. Someone went through our bags and took selected high-value things. Only hotel staff had access to our room. Afterward, the hotel somehow decided there was just one possible person who could have entered on all three days and taken the items. That conclusion came awfully quickly. There are no hallway cameras either, which is shocking for a so-called luxury hotel. If you care about your belongings or peace of mind, don’t stay here. Paying luxury prices to be stolen from and then brushed off is a disgrace. This is an unsafe property that doesn’t protect its guests.
