The condo felt worn down, old, and dirty, and the oven in our unit didn’t work. I’d bought groceries for the whole family to eat in, so wasting the food and money was upsetting. When I went to management for help, they weren’t willing to do anything. I’m extremely disappointed with the stay and management, and I won’t bring my family here again.
The room felt hot and stuffy, and the only bedroom window opened just a couple of inches, so there was no real ventilation. We also found weed crumbs on the main bedroom comforter, and the floors hadn’t been swept. The place didn’t feel clean or cared for. It took nearly an hour to get the main room TV set up in English, which made it harder to relax. The online photos were completely misleading, and the unit looked nothing like the listing. We were very disappointed and uncomfortable, and based on our experience, wouldn’t recommend it.
The room itself was spacious, had a nice view, and the indoor and outdoor hot tubs were pleasant. Parking was a pain since we could only use a limited number of spaces marked visitor. Management should remove the visitor spots from the wall and let people park in the space assigned to their room. The shuttle worked well for the first few days, but one broke down later in our stay. Management only ran trips to Lions Head, even though Vail Village is where most people want to go and is just two minutes farther. We paid a premium for drop-off shuttle service, so they should adapt when something goes wrong and meet customers’ needs.
There’s a nice hot tub for unwinding after skiing, and the shuttles come pretty often, around every 10 minutes. Our two-story room had lots of space, three beds, a well-equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, and three TVs. Most things at the hotel were really nice. The cleaning was the one issue. There was hair all over the beds, more hair from past residents in the shower, and the TV remote was covered in boogers and food crumbs. It was only a minor inconvenience for us, though it could be a bigger problem for someone else. Everything else was clean, and it’s definitely worth staying here.
It was pretty quiet, the gym was alright, and the place is spacious with locked parking in the best part of vail. Just be careful coming in summer because there’s no AC in any of the rooms. They have fans, but in 90 degree weather, not having AC is ridiculous. You might melt lol.
