The hotel and resort were beautiful, with top-notch amenities and amazing service. Its location was fabulous, within walking distance of great shopping, restaurants, and pretty much anything you’d want to do. The Gammit bar also had great drinks, appetizers, and desserts. The kids’ Easter Bunny and egg hunt made it an excellent experience all around. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it.

We normally book at the Four Seasons across the street, but for the price I’d come back to the Sebastian. The place is beautiful and well kept, and you can walk to plenty of spots; the bus stop is close too. Our room was lovely, the beds were so comfortable, and they left us a complimentary charcuterie board when we arrived. The staff were kind and accommodating, and room service was great. The pool area may be even better than the Four Seasons, since this heated pool actually feels warm. The hot tubs and gym were great too. My one letdown was the complimentary coffee station. Coffee matters to me, and the machine was out of order on our second morning. It would be nice to have a working maker there and a couple of milk options. I really don’t get the low reviews.

The lobby has several comfortable corners to settle into, and the spa was a welcome way to unwind after skiing. I also loved the bar, with its good drinks and live music. It felt lively without getting chaotic. The hot tubs are roomy and never seemed crowded. Service is what made this stay so different from any other hotel I’ve tried. The staff were incredibly friendly and on top of things, even taking our skis and boots right down to Base Camp. The rooms were comfortable, with great views, and the location was ideal. If you want an easy, elevated stay in Vail, I’d absolutely recommend The Sebastian.

I’m a real neat freak, and this hotel was even better than I expected on that front. Everyone was caring and so welcoming, and it’s very kid friendly. What an amazing stay. I can’t recommend this place enough.

We were here for a wedding, so we never got to try the food. Still, we’d choose The Sebastian again when we return to Vail. It’s right in the center, close enough to walk to shops, restaurants, and the main sights. The room was roomy and comfortable, with an excellent bed and quality linens. There’s a fridge with a complimentary soft drink that gets replenished each day, plus tea and coffee supplies and a nice range of Molton Brown bathroom products. It was a little dark inside because the windows were small, and there wasn’t a view. We also noticed some minor wear, though the hotel overall was clean, spacious, and well cared for. The public spaces and pool deck looked beautiful and were kept up well. Staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient throughout our stay.
