Vail Antlers 2 Bedroom Condo

I had to leave after just one night because I started having breathing symptoms, and my physician recommended that I leave for health reasons. I have asthma, so I want other travelers, especially anyone with allergies or asthma, to know what we found. The unit smelled strongly, including the kitchen rug, carpet, and bedding, which had an odor like animals or dogs. The air also felt musty, and I was concerned about possible mold or moisture. Cleanliness was far below what I'd expect at this price in Vail. Management was polite and gave us credit toward a future stay, but I can't return because of the health concerns, and I ended up with a significant financial loss. At these rates, I'd expect professionally laundered bedding, rooms without a strong odor, and basic air quality control. If air quality, pet dander, or mold is a concern for you, I'd suggest checking the cleaning standards before booking.

The Antlers is a hidden gem in Lionshead, with a newly renovated room and a short walk to Lionshead Gondola. The service went above and beyond. I left my wallet at the hotel, and Jeff brought it to me at the Eagle airport so I could catch my flight. Thank you, Jeff!

The kitchen had all the dishes and pans we needed, and the unit worked well for us. Getting to it from the garage was easy. We even took the sleds out back and went down the little hill.

You can park one car in the heated garage at no extra charge, then walk to just about everything, including the Gondola. The full-size kitchens and wonderful customer service were great, and the heated pool and hot tubs sit right beside the creek. Some units welcome pets, too. Terrific condo property in Lionshead.
