We stayed in 0304, and the team did a great job with service and cleanliness. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the upscale condo was well stocked. Being on the ground floor was convenient, with a fireplace and ski storage. There were lots of board games in the unit, plus smart TVs. The resort is very well maintained and managed. We enjoyed the heated pool, all 3 hot-tubs, including the 2 that are adults only, and the coin/app operated laundry. The main lobby also has board games and a fireplace. It’s a 10 min drive to Vail, or you can walk a few minutes to the bus stop and take the free shuttle.

We left a day early after a terrible stay. I’ve been coming to Vail for decades, and there are much nicer places to stay in town. All the units are close to I-70, so trucks kept us up most of the night. Ours was old and dingy, with dark rooms, stained carpet, and stained sheets. I took photos and sent them to the manager. The TVs looked at least 15 years old, and although there was a DVD player, there was no way to stream anything. I can imagine the positive reviews are from people who got a more updated unit. The manager was very nice and offered to move us, but I hadn’t slept, didn’t feel like packing everything up, and a new unit wouldn’t have fixed the traffic noise. I also asked for a refund for the night we decided not to stay, but he couldn’t do that. Why give guests an unkempt, old unit to start with? It’s a 15 minute bus ride into town. I’d steer clear and stay somewhere more updated in town. The tennis courts are nice, though, so stop by for court time if you enjoy that, then stay elsewhere.

The front desk staff were courteous and helpful, and deserve high marks for customer service. My sister and I had a wonderful time at the Vail Village resort, with a free shuttle to Vail Village and Lionshead from the perfect location. There were a couple of small room issues. The kitchen had only one outlet we could find, so filling the coffee maker meant stretching over the sink, and its cord was very short. I chose this resort for the fireplace, but the wood in our wood burning fireplace wouldn’t catch the first night. That was disappointing until the front desk had another stack delivered the next day.

This was my second stay at Vail Racquet Club Mountain Resort, and I had another amazing experience. The amenities are excellent, and check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free. Vail is about a 5-minute ride away on the convenient shuttle. I recommend staying here and will definitely be back.

We’ve stayed in this cozy condo 3 times now and can’t wait to return to the same unit. The cleaning service was excellent, and Andrew, the manager, is great. See you soon!
