The 10th Green Inn

At $95 a night, this was the worst value I've ever had, and I've only stayed somewhere worse once. The room smelled of pot smoke, and I had to buy Clorox bleach spray to deal with mildew in the bathroom. There were dogs loose and barking, with people yelling in the rooms. The customers looked only a little better off than homeless people. It's unbelievable that a place with so much historic potential could be this bad. I'm never coming back.

I’ve been here for a good while, and the manager has been professional and met every accommodation. I even saw her go out of her way to make sure customers were comfortable and satisfied. I’ve read the older reviews, and dang, some people seem pretty bitter. Maybe complaining just becomes a habit for some, because I’m impressed with just about everything here. I recommend the place and will absolutely return. For the record, I never heard about or saw an unhappy customer during my stay.

We had a pleasant visit for the most part, and the woman who checked us in was really friendly. The location is quaint and easy to find. The inn is definitely old, which adds some charm, and the room was thoughtfully set up with amenities. The fridge seemed new and kept our beer ice cold. Cleanliness was mostly good, though I found some trash tucked beside the bed. The room had an old hotel smell, but it wasn't musty. The nightstand surface was peeling, and the bed was so noisy that even a small movement made a sound. The walls and ceilings are very thin, like at a B & B. I'd rather have a nicer room, though there don't seem to be many options around here. AAA members do get a discount, but the price still felt a little high for the room's quality.

The new owner is awesome, and we really enjoyed our stay. It's a cute hotel with a homey feel and nice rooms. Thanks for everything!
