Home2 Suites by Hilton York

The breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly. The room was clean, though it had some old damage, including a huge burn mark on the bathroom counter. The mattresses and pillows were both very soft, which isn’t my preference. Furniture in the rooms and the breakfast area seems chosen to withstand a lot of use rather than for comfort or looks. The common area had plastic-covered seats and harsh fabrics. Overall, it was perfectly adequate.

Breakfast at 6 a.m. made a real difference since we could eat before heading out to our roofing job. Other hotels start too late for us. I travel away for work a lot, and this was the best hotel I’ve stayed at in York PA. The rooms felt new and were super clean, the TVs actually worked, and Andrew at the front desk was very nice.

I’ve been here around ten times in the past two years, and the clean rooms and wonderful staff keep it a good choice. The breakfast works well as a quick, light meal, and the small gym has a guest login for workouts. It’s conveniently near the Giant grocery store and a few decent restaurants. I especially like Isaac’s Sanwich Shop. I highly recommend it for trips to York, PA.

It was my first time at this location, and I had a great stay. The area was quiet and still close to plenty of attractions. The rooms were clean, and the staff were hospitable and happy to help.
