We booked about a month ahead because we wanted to be near The Gardenia Venue. Check-in and checkout were quick and easy. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfortable, with soft beds and basic toiletries available if you’ve forgotten yours. Our room was in an inner corner, so highway noise didn’t bother us, though maybe we were just tired and slept hard. The A/C was a little loud, but we could still sleep. It suited a quick stay, especially for a nearby wedding.

The room was very clean, and the facilities were excellent and convenient. My only complaint was the truck traffic on I-35 going 75 MPH for most of the night.

We only stayed one night, and I’d come back even with the noise issues. The front desk was helpful, and they moved us without a problem when our first room was behind a large pillar meant to block the road noise. The next room was still noisy. The A/C was loud on high, so we left it running that way while we were out; on low it was very quiet. I was exhausted from the road trip and concert. The shower water was loud when first turned on, but that settled down after a while.

Our room was huge, and the bathroom and vanity area were spacious too. The highway noise didn’t bother me much. There weren’t horns or brakes, just cars passing on the Texas highway, and I use white noise to sleep anyway. I felt very safe. There’s a Dollar General and a fun little convenience store within walking distance. Grab one of their fresh, piping hot pizzas; it was still hot when we got back to the room. We had a really fun, laid-back stay. It was clean and cozy, and the Roku TV was delightful 🙂 The price was very reasonable. They’re strict about checkout times, but there’s only one woman cleaning and she has a lot to do quickly. Cut her some slack, she’s following the owners’ instructions and doing her job well. Valley View is a quaint, close-knit little town rebuilding after the familiar kinds of severe weather in the area. Show Valley View, Sanger, and the Oyo a little Lone Star love if you’re lucky enough to pass through ❣️❣️❣️

The location was convenient, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. I’d seen reviews about highway noise, but with the fan running, it was hardly noticeable in my room.
