The service here was the best I've ever experienced, and the rooms felt great and cozy. It's right as you come into town, too. Easily the nicest place I've stayed around here.

At $89 a night, I felt it was overpriced. With taxes included, something closer to $60 seemed fair. There was no breakfast available or included, and I've paid less elsewhere and gotten more.

Tyler and his wife, the managers, were really nice to me, and the room was very, very clean. It was big and refurbished, with a new television. This was the best motel of my 10-week road trip in the US. No breakfast, but there are nice, inexpensive kolaches across the road. A perfect stop whether you're passing through or staying longer.

I was turned away around 3 a.m. even though I'd booked through an online agency and have stayed here quite a few times over the years with a good, clean record. They wouldn't accept my bank card, only a major credit card, and my ID still showed a nearby town about half an hour away where I no longer live. I haven't had time to update the address. I was already way behind schedule, exhausted, and just wanted to get to bed. It seems someone changed the policy for everyone who's local, and I'm very disappointed.

The manager takes safety seriously, which matters a lot to us, and the rooms were clean and well maintained. I stayed with a friend last weekend for the big eclipse, and we had a wonderful time all around. I especially liked the smart TV and the fridge with a separate freezer on top. If I'm in this part of the state again, I'll stay here.
