At the conference luncheon, Tric made sure I and the other guest had enough gluten-free food. Pancho and Paula also helped me figure out what I could eat at the closing reception. Kat went above and beyond to find me a sweet snack on the first day. Thanks to all of you and the rest of the staff for doing such a great job accommodating my dietary needs.

I’ve traveled to conferences for over 30 years, and the service here was some of the best I’ve had at a hotel. Tric, our server, and Eric, the chef, were both wonderful with vegan options. They made a special meal for me and checked in regularly. I had a fantastic conference experience at the Hilton and will be back.

This is just about breakfast at Gray’s, our favorite place to go out for breakfast. The food was excellent as always, and David was simply the best server. He’s skilled and professional, but also personable and easy to be around. He makes you feel welcome, and we’re always glad to see him again.

All the staff were very nice, friendly, and accommodating. The area has plenty to do, and mostly felt safe in daytime, though I wouldn’t go out alone at night. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, though the wallpaper was peeling and it felt dated. The heating and cooling relied on a thermostat rather than a wall unit, and ours didn’t work. A technician came and thought it was fixed, but the room stayed unbearably hot and we barely slept. We didn’t get back until almost midnight and didn’t want another repair visit or a room move, so check the thermostat before unpacking, especially in summer. At check-in, their computers were having issues, but they offered compensation for the inconvenience. As a Hilton member, I expected complimentary breakfast, but received only a coupon for one free coffee shop beverage for two of us. We ate at Gray anyway. I mentioned my gluten and onion allergies to the waitress. They had gluten-free bread, even though it wasn’t on the menu, but the potatoes had orange seasoning that contained onion. She insisted it was just salt and pepper, then offered fruit instead when I said I couldn’t eat them.
