The room was comfortable and clean, and Faye made the stay feel especially welcoming. She was attentive, genuinely sweet, and made sure I had what I needed. I had a great visit and would happily come back. The staff, especially Faye, made a real difference.

I’m grateful to have had a safe place to sleep, and most of my stay was good. But one front desk employee made things uncomfortable. The Spanish lady was rude and passive-aggressive while keeping a friendly smile, and I found the communication deliberately poor. She acted unprofessionally and didn’t seem to think an apology was needed. I’m sharing this as a heads-up, and also because nobody should have to deal with unnecessary stress or confrontation at work.

We stayed for a couple of weeks, and the room was filthy when we arrived. The trash room kept overflowing, with waste leaking into the hall. We reported what looked like a bedbug to the on-site manager, who denied it was one and said they’d never had a bedbug problem. The nonsmoking room smelled of smoke, and the bathroom had a sewer-like odor, as if something were leaking into the walls. There was also a lot of drug use on the property.

We were stuck here for three weeks, and if we’d had another option, we would have left. The place was filthy, and the strong smell of pot from nearby rooms made me nauseous, despite this being a nonsmoking hotel. There was a trash room two doors down that smelled awful, and housekeeping was only offered once a week. We killed bugs in our room and saw cockroaches in the trash room. I even had to wipe mouse droppings out of the drawers before unpacking. The bathtub drain was packed with hair, so shower water came up to our shins. After I asked three times, Terry from maintenance finally cleared some of it. He was trying hard, but seemed overworked and had more than one property to take care of. Lilly at the front desk was friendly, too. Those were the only bright spots. Getting a clean dishcloth was a struggle. Jade at the front desk told me to wash the old one in the sink instead of giving me a fresh one. I refused, and we only got a clean cloth after someone else stepped in. This place needs to be reported to the health department. The photos speak for themselves. Never stay here.

The rooms are decent, though the appliances are old, and the elevator was dirty enough to need a sweep and wipe-down. Sometimes the hallway smells like sewage, too. I wrote this the day before leaving, on a Friday. The tub was clogged, and we had to buy drain cleaner and fix it ourselves because nobody was available for hours. The next morning, someone came in while we weren’t dressed. I thought I’d paid for three days, but I hadn’t. The phone didn’t work, so they couldn’t call up first. I went downstairs and had an altercation with one of the young women, who growled at me. Marisol called the police, and the officer thought she was being ridiculous. I said I’d pay because it was my mistake, but I wasn’t going to be spoken to that way. I didn’t want to stay, and I’d already left a review. The officer saw the condition of the hotel and elevator and laughed with me as we went up for my things. When we came back down, she followed us outside. He wished us a nice day, and we had one. After reading the reviews, we worried there might be traffickers coming in. Be safe. It’s cheap and has a kitchen, so maybe it works as shelter in winter or for workers traveling, but not for a leisure stay.
