Breakfast in the parlor was absolutely delicious, and the whole experience beat staying at an AC resort for us. We spent less than half as much for Saturday night. My wife and I had a great one-night stay at the Carisbrooke. It was super clean and comfortable, and a fantastic location, only half a block from the beach. We’ll definitely be back!

Our whole family fell in love with this charming inn. It’s in a quiet neighborhood with lots of cute restaurants, and a short drive from Margate City or downtown AC. In season, you get a delicious free breakfast from the diner around the corner. Parking is designated but a block away. The beach is only half a block away, and there are even beach chairs and towels to borrow. We also enjoyed the lovely ocean view from the second-floor deck. The place is comfortable, clean, and convenient, and the owners really have thought of everything.

We really appreciated that the place kept its historic charm instead of going for a generic remodel to make everything look new. The room was clean, and the staff was great. The location is amazing, so close to the beach, with water views from the upstairs deck. Breakfast cooked to order at the restaurant next door was amazing, and we hadn’t even realized beach towels, chairs, and tags were included. We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to come back.

We found this gem after changing plans just a week before arriving. We’d originally booked the Tropicana, but after reading so many recent bad reviews about the rooms, we decided to find somewhere else. This inn was convenient for the area’s restaurants and AC. Our room was clean and roomy, and we had great food and ice cream at The North Beach Cafe & Creamery every morning that weekend. Parking is off site, just around the block, but they let you pull up out front to unload or load luggage when arriving or leaving. We’ll definitely stay here again when we’re in the area.

We’ve been coming here for many years, and always look forward to staying. John and Agnes are so hospitable and accommodating. The inn is half a block from the beach and boardwalk, and beach chairs and towels are available to use. We love sitting on the second-floor deck, reading and looking out at the ocean. Breakfast next door at the cafe is scrumptious, with lots of delicious options. It’s our favorite place to stay at the Jersey shore. Debbie and Carl
