Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Vermillion by IHG

On most days there wasn't any breakfast, and the coffee machines were out of service. The windows are extremely dirty, while the rooms are only cleanish and many look outdated. This is definitely below IHG's standards.

They're doing construction, so things are pretty torn up, though the rooms are clean. There isn't a little store on site. Even with a washer and dryer available, I had to drive to a grocery store in the dark to get detergent. The dryer was nearly useless, too. My clothes were still dry after an hour and a half. The beds were comfortable, but front desk service was sluggish.

The room stayed dark during the day, and the beds were very comfortable. I thought the room seemed clean, though a few things clearly needed fixing. Everything still worked, and the shower got nice and hot. Breakfast was great. I only tried the cinnamon rolls, so I'll have to sample the rest another time. Connecting to the internet was easy, and it was fast. I'd recommend it for a night or two.

The one good thing was the breakfast. During our whole seven-day stay, nobody cleaned the room, and we had to ask for towels and washcloths. They blocked the elevator while redoing the floor, so we had to haul all our luggage down two floors. My better half and I are both handicapped, and our medical conditions limit us.
