Hotel Flamingo Inn & Suites Vero Beach I-95

The staff are few but dedicated, and they handled everything I needed with warmth and candor. There’s a lot of Southern hospitality and personality here. The continental breakfast was sparse but adequate, the dining area was clean and well lit, and coffee was available in the lobby 24 hours a day. I also had food delivered in the evenings, and drivers had no trouble finding my room. Hotel Flamingo has been renovated, but the work feels well judged. The carpet and paint are new, while the sturdy showerhead from 1984 that never goes out of style or stops working is still there. In my view, renovations work best when they improve the building instead of replacing good furnishings with cheap new-looking junk and leaving carpet and paint untouched. Nice work on this renovation. For the price, I’ve loved it and don’t think you can do better in Vero Beach. I stayed at Howard Johnson's the first night and thought imps might carry me off in the middle of the night. Hotel Flamingo was about ten dollars cheaper. No place away from home is perfect, but it does a great job for the price.

Nicole at the front desk was always there when I needed help. She made check-in easy, greeted me with a nice smile, and was always saying good morning. The hotel was clean and a great value for the money. There was coffee available all morning and night.

I kept extending my stay each day and ended up here for a week. The staff were super helpful and friendly, and the facility was clean. The young American cleaning lady was great, as was the nicely dressed young front desk woman with long brown hair. The hotel and staff are excellent for the money, and basic 🍳 was free.

Stay away from this place. The furniture was damaged and missing pieces, like it had come from a salvage store, and the bath was totally disgusting. We bought Lysol disinfectant wipes and found that everything was filthy. My wife and I were itchy through the night and couldn’t sleep comfortably. I’m sure bed bugs are living in the blankets. The so-called breakfast had no meat of any kind, so we must suffer because of the owners’ religious views.
