That bed and those pillows were so good I could've stayed there forever. I was there for three days and two nights, and it was really peaceful. I was at the far end of the first-floor hallway, which may have helped, but I couldn't hear anything through the walls. The little kitchenette had a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, electric cooktop, dishwasher, and plenty of dishes. It was a holiday weekend, so prices within 50 miles were exorbitant. I think I paid about $177 a night. There wasn't room service, and housekeeping didn't come every day. If you needed something, you had to call the front desk and they'd bring it up.

We were visiting the college and were glad to have somewhere comfortable to relax. The room was clean, too. We booked at the last minute, and the receptionist was really helpful. I asked for a first-floor room and he found one for us. I'd happily recommend staying here, and I plan to come back.

The GM, Mr. SRA, needs to work on customer service. You shouldn't take someone's phone out of their hand without asking first. The staff also need training on how customers can use their gift vouchers. The GM and the woman working the second shift both had attitudes.

The place was clean and comfortable, but there's no breakfast, so kids will be disappointed. The bathroom sink was clogged and filled up with water. It also had a slippery-bottomed bathtub with no anti-slip material, which feels like a big liability these days. This hotel really needs a breakfast area.

The property itself was nice, but I forgot my toothbrush and they didn't have a complimentary one. Then at 11:30 I got a call from the front desk saying checkout was at 11 and reminding me I was already late. I had emails from both Expedia and Candlewood Suites IHG saying checkout was at noon. When I asked how I was supposed to know about the change, she had no answer. She wasn't apologetic or very nice, and just repeated that I should already be out of the room.
