I booked online through bookings, but he refused to refund me or return the rent, saying he no longer accepts online payments. Why solicit bookings on the platform if that's the case? Maybe he did us a favor, but this felt like a clever way to steal. Zero stars.

The smell hit as soon as I walked in, and the whole place felt wet and moldy. There were live and dead cockroaches in the fridge and drawers, along with other animals. The carpet had damp, wet stains, the chairs were ripped, and there was mold in the bathroom, on the ceiling, and on the towels. I wouldn't recommend staying here under any circumstances. A park bench would be better.

The fridge barely worked, and they wouldn't give us extra pillows or towels. There were only three pillows for a king bed. We were also rationed toilet paper: apparently you only get another roll if you hand your towels to the cleaner, who bangs on the door like a cop. The room clearly hadn't been cleaned. It smelled awful as soon as we entered, the floor was stained, there was a cigarette hole in the mattress, and there were roaches. I even had them crawling on me in bed. I woke up with strange bites on my arms, so maybe bed bugs, or the roaches were really hungry. (: I just hope it's not scabies. I'm not coming back, and you shouldn't go there.

For more than $60, you'd expect working internet and a clean room. The Wi-Fi didn't work, there wasn't even a fitted sheet on the bed, and breakfast wasn't provided. That was a horrible experience. They need to get some housekeeping help, or lower the price.
