The bed was the best part for me, really comfortable with nice bedding and fluffy pillows. I have hip problems and can't sleep on a hard mattress, so that mattered a lot. The room was spacious enough, clean, and had what I needed. Staff were wonderful and everyone I spoke with was helpful. I was in Victoria for work for four nights and wanted somewhere quiet and comfortable. I didn't know the area, so I drove around to look at other places first, but they weren't what I wanted and I came back here. The reviews looked good, so I gave it a try. It's not the newest or fanciest hotel, but for friendly people and a clean, quiet, comfortable stay, I'd put it on my must-stay list for Victoria.

We ended up leaving and staying at another hotel, so we each paid for two places that night. At 5 in the evening, we asked if our rooms could be close together, but the desk clerk said 26 rooms were still dirty and he didn't know if he could arrange it. The place didn't look like the photos, which must be old. Carpets were stained, the tub surround was separating from the wall, and the front door handle and lock were loose, making it feel unsafe. The stairs to the second floor were so rusted they looked ready to collapse.

After a three-hour drive, all we wanted was some rest before continuing our journey to El Paso Texas the following Sunday. Mr Alam was amazing, very polite, and went above and beyond with customer service. He took care of what we needed right away. Please recognize his hard work. Thank you from the guests in room 204.

The room was very clean, and the service was excellent. We had a great stay. My wife had one complaint: the toilet didn't flush very well.

The rooms are quite nice, and the staff pay close attention to guests. It was a relaxing place to stay and well worth the affordable price.
