The place looks like everything really dates from the 50s, including the decor, and a chunk of drywall has fallen out of the wall in the “gym.” My sheets made me extremely itchy, and I can only guess they weren’t washed properly. I hope that’s all it was, not bed bugs. I was too tired to change hotels. There were also bed bugs, and water ended up all over the carpet because the whirl pool tub in the main bedroom has jets so powerful that water shoots right out. The TV runs on an antenna and only had 10 stations, one in black and white and three Spanish soaps. I caught the end of an NBA game, so I guess that was something. Welcome to the hotel California.

The staff were very friendly, and the lobby looked great. I stayed just one night in a nice, clean room, though I was a little disappointed that it didn’t have the tub shown in one of the online photos. There’s a small restaurant in the hotel, but no room service or complimentary breakfast. A place for fun is right next door, with lots of shopping and places to eat nearby.

I enjoyed my two-week stay and would come back. The room was nice and the service was good, though people smoking pot in the hotel made it stink. The TV wasn’t very smart: the remote had a Netflix option, but Netflix wasn’t available. Even so, it’s a very good hotel.

I felt safe here, and the location worked well for me. The hotel was newly upgraded, clean, and the people were nice, as I’d expect from a Hilton property. I like having a tub, and this one was nice. The Herman Miller office chair was an unexpected bonus, really comfortable.

The staff were really nice, and I’m thankful they allow dogs. They’re remodeling, but for now the interior still feels dated and the carpet is worn out. On both of our stays, the ice machine on our floor was out of order, and the AC didn’t work very well. We checked prices online, but after the fees were added, we ended up paying double for one night.
