The McKenzie River is gorgeous, and there’s plenty to do nearby. We had a wonderful stay at Eagle Rock Lodge, with lovely details throughout the property and lots of river frontage. Our room was clean and thoughtfully put together. Lisa was incredibly welcoming and made sure there were great breakfast options for my vegan diet. We’ll definitely be back.

After a day of hiking, social hour and breakfast are such a nice treat, and we always sleep well. We’ve stayed at Eagle Rock Lodge more than five times, and every visit has been just as good. Kermit and Lisa are great hosts, and the rooms are well kept and have never disappointed us.

My wife surprised me with a weekend at Eagle Rock for my birthday, and we played the golf course about 10 minutes down the highway. It was one of the most relaxing birthdays I’ve had. The owners go out of their way to make the stay enjoyable, and the service is great. I loved having morning coffee while watching the birds, and the meals they prepared were great too. I’ve recommended it to all my friends.

Eagle Rock was a perfect oasis during our Oregon road trip. The warm welcome and attentive service from Lisa and Kermit, along with their adorable dog, made the stay especially nice. We enjoyed the glass of wine and snack on arrival, then had a delicious table-served breakfast, including marionberry stuffed french toast. Our Damselfly suite was comfortable and well appointed, and the landscaping and location right on the McKenzie River were gorgeous.

We loved strolling the grounds and sitting by the river. It was so peaceful that leaving was the hardest part, though coming back will be easy after such a lovely anniversary stay. The setting felt magical, and my wife really enjoyed the wine selection. The evening cheese quesadilla was the best I’ve ever had, and the IPA was a nice touch. Breakfast was a treat too: the Marionberry French toast has set the bar for any I have in the future. Five stars.
