We came for the sweet onion festival and had a terrible stay. In the first room, the vanity light didn’t work. They moved us to a second room where the AC wouldn’t turn on, the sheets were dirty, and there was trash. In the third room, the fire alarm kept beeping. When I called about it, they told me to wait until morning. When I asked about compensation, I was basically told there would be no discounts or refunds. The stay wasn’t worth what we paid at all. Look at the better hotels in the area. This place isn’t worth any money.

The staff were awesome, pleasant to deal with, and easy to talk to. Our room felt like a mini apartment, and it was clean and well maintained. I’d recommend this motel to anyone in the area looking for a place to stay.

We paid almost $200 for a double room with just two towels, so asking for extra towels seemed reasonable. The housekeeper was very rude about it and came to the door raising her voice. I had to shut the door in her face to keep things from escalating. The way I was spoken to was uncalled for, and I don’t know if I’ll stay here again.

The room smelled musty, and there was staining and discoloration on the wall that might have been mold. The whole place felt run down and needed renovation. I don’t recommend it.

The room was nothing special, and the walls didn’t block much sound. For hours I heard banging and other noises right outside, which made the place feel unsafe. The shower kept swinging from lukewarm to scalding hot. There was only one fairly thin blanket on the bed, so you’d better turn up the heat. The AC also took several tries to start. My Choice Hotels membership never got its reward points. On my third attempt to get staff to answer the phone, I asked someone to add them to my account and was told, “we don’t handle the points. That’s someone else.” So, yeah, below average, and I won’t stay again.
