My period started unexpectedly and left a spot about the size of a quarter on the sheets. They took $100 from my deposit over the sheets. I won’t stay at another Wyndham property, and corporate wouldn’t step in.

We found the beds comfortable and the fridge larger than expected. Most of all, the staff were awesome, friendly, and accommodating, and the problems we ran into weren’t their fault. At nearly $200 a night, though, the place wasn’t worth it. The pool was shut, there was no elevator, and we had to buy our own soap, body wash, and washcloths because there were none. The old carpet was puffed up in spots and felt like a trip hazard. Rooms were small, the floors badly scratched, and my lampshade looked like it had really been through it.

The pool was the only nice part of the stay. We picked the hotel for its outdoor pool and brought our family, including two small kids, to visit relatives. At check-in they said it was closed because of the weather, even though it was sunny and 85 degrees. We complained and they did take the padlocks off, but the bathroom was so unpleasant I wouldn’t bathe my kids there. Everything smelled bad, the walls were thin enough that I heard people yelling all night, and the AC was moldy. We left as soon as we could in the morning. I complained at the desk, but she didn’t seem to care. Calling this place clean is a joke.

We chose them for our wedding room block and April after-party because hotels are limited in the area and they were the only place with a bar. The rooms were clean and nice, the bar area worked out, and things did come together in the end. But getting answers was hard. We had to send repeated emails and texts, call many times, and even stop by, yet no one could answer our questions. Several guests also didn’t get the requests they’d made at check-in. It was a struggle to coordinate everything, so I can’t fully recommend them.
