Beach Quarters Resort

The one real upside was being right on the beach. Otherwise, this place felt old, outdated, and unsafe, with staff who were basically nonexistent and rules that weren’t enforced. I stayed a week as a gift. It’s noisy there, with jets from the air base flying around at all hours, day and night. The bathroom design is terrible too. It’s so small the toilet feels kid-sized, with one knee against the door frame and the other against the bathtub while you’re trying to use it.

Being right on the beach from the balcony was fantastic, and we loved the location. But the noise inside the hotel really got in the way. You can hear everything: doors slamming hard enough to shake the walls, the person next door snoring, people talking in the corridors. If noise bothers you, this probably isn’t the place for you. If it doesn’t, the location is perfect.

The only real service hiccup was getting bedding for the fold-out couch. We called the desk 3-4 times over almost two hours, and didn’t get it until after the night shift changed around 11:00PM. Apart from that, everything was great. We only stayed one night, and our suite was clean, nice, and up to date. The upper deck pool/bar is RAD. The garage has a slightly odd layout and is very tight, though. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Great location, but the place is very worn down, dated, and in serious need of upgrades. The staff have been great, except for the room cleaning crew. They keep slamming doors and yelling, disturbing everyone around them. The parking garage is convenient, but really tight, and large vehicles will have trouble with the turns.
