The room didn’t look anything like the one advertised online, which was really disappointing. There was mold in the bathroom, the floors hadn’t been swept, and housekeeping never came by. One towel was provided and it was dirty; there were no washcloths, so I had to go buy those along with extra pillows. I also had to ask several times to get the remote changed.

I travel between states a lot, and finding somewhere I feel safe sleeping can be hard. Here I got a warm bed and a very hospitable front desk. The hotel could use an upgrade, but the staff met all my needs and requests. Thanks for the stay, I’ll be back when I’m passing through!

I was put in a room at 5 pm with no towels or washcloths, and they didn’t arrive until around 10. Around midnight, I went outside and saw a couple physically fighting. I’m so grateful to the woman at the front desk. She wasn’t scared at all and got the fighters off the property right away. Safety matters much more to me than towels or washcloths, so I’d give her 20 stars. The rest of the night was peaceful and felt safe. I’ll tell my buddies at the truck stop they can come here safely.

Room 172 was a bad choice, so if they tell you it’s the only room, don’t take it. We paid for a kitchen, but the stove never worked during our whole week. When I asked about a discount or refund, he just said “no.” The bathroom had poor water pressure, and the shower didn’t have hot water. I had to keep calling the front desk; once he turned the hot water on, it still wasn’t hot enough or didn’t stay hot. The room hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived and smelled like pee. There were suspicious-looking stains on the floor. The turtles in the lobby made it smell like poop, too. For $450 a week, it wasn’t worth it. After that week we went straight to the Magnuson, which was cheaper and cleaner, and had a really nice woman at the front desk. Save your money and stay somewhere else.
