The room was comfortable, spacious, and well lit. It’s not high-end, but the price and location are great. Being so close to the beach is a big plus, and I could see part of the ocean from my window. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I had a great stay and would book here again.

We stayed one night on October 25/26, 2025, during our first stop to see Virginia beach before driving on to outer bank, emerald isle, NC, myrtle beach, and then Florida beaches. This was the worst hotel we stayed in, and I’m glad it was only one night. The online photos and description sounded perfect but were the opposite of what we found. Marijuana smell hit us as soon as we opened the car in the parking lot. Reception was in a small separate building at the parking entrance, so we had to park and walk over. They gave us keys to a second-floor room, but its door was broken. I called the receptionist, who was on the ground, and a maintenance worker came to check it. The bolt wouldn’t turn to lock, and he said, “no one can enter that room”. We told both him and the receptionist we didn’t feel safe. The maintenance worker tried and failed to fix it, and without him there, the receptionist might not have moved us. They put us on the third floor, where we initially felt better being away from the people smoking pot in the second-floor hallway. The door worked there, but the marijuana smell was unbearable, seemingly coming from the curtains and bedding. People were smoking pot in the elevator too. Management seemed to deal with the odor by spraying some kind of perfumed chemical over it. Never again.

The front desk staff were super friendly and the service was amazing. The rooms looked and smelled great, too. I’d say it’s better to pay in person than online, so go check out their service.

The photos on Expedia gave me the wrong idea about this place. I paid $197 with fees for two nights, which seemed reasonable until I saw the condition of the room. Both beds had dirty linens, and one had no top sheet. When I asked for clean ones, they were left at the door and looked even worse. The pillowcases were filthy too, and no clean blankets were brought. There was hair on the bathroom floor and in the shower, something like dirt or tobacco in a drawer, and a cuticle stick on the floor. The mini fridge had dirty water pooled at the bottom. I asked for a refund, but they only agreed to return the second night. The first night cost much more, so I got only $60 back. Poor business. Do not recommend.
