Buzz's Lakeside Inn

We still had a great weekend and ended up laughing about the early lawn mowing, even though the mowers started at 7:30 on Saturday and ruined the chance to sleep in. The setting by the lake is lovely. We sat under a big tree with drinks and watched the boats. On a hot day the pool was closed and the cable was out, but the staff apologized and handled it professionally.

Lovely atmosphere, good food at moderate prices, and delightful service. The drinks cost too much. We kept having patio servers pass our table because the outside door was placed right by us, and they left it open as they went through. That door belongs in the adjoining barroom. We’ll be back often.

We had a fantastic group outing with lovely lake views, and this would be a great spot for a wedding. Someone compared it to Dirty Dancing, and I found myself wondering where Patrick Swayze was. The steak was delicious and beautifully plated. Angie took good care of us, and when an unexpected guest joined, Jennifer handled it easily. I also met Buzz the owner and appreciated all the attention to detail. Thanks to everyone. Our group plans to come back for another summer event.

The lake view was briefly interrupted by a burst of clouds, but otherwise we enjoyed a very good meal. I got the pulled pork sandwich. The toasted bun added a nice bit of crunch.
