Palms at Wailea Two Bedrooms - Garden View by Coldwell Banker Island Vacations

A peaceful, quiet neighborhood that works well for a stay with kids. The beach is within walking distance, and parking is free if you rent a place.

We spent 9 nights here with our family, and the large condo had everything we needed. The views are beautiful, and I think the ocean view upgrade is worth it. My child was sick for 3 days, but I didn’t mind being stuck inside with the nice lanai and that view. It wasn’t completely up to date, but it was clean and very functional.

The room smelled bad, the sofa and furniture were old, and the bed was very hard. We booked 8 nights in Nov, but there was an extra charge for turning on the guest room AC. The service was terrible too. There were no instructions for the TV, and the receptionist was rude. She didn’t even look at me while she spoke. There was no ocean access, and we had to walk almost 2 miles to reach it. The stairs hadn’t been fixed, and my daughter fell. I found tiles and concrete in the closet. When I asked to change rooms, the receptionist said they only manage 30 houses and had no rooms available. We had to leave and find another hotel the next day. The worst part was that the Palms at Wailea Maui charged me an extra $440 cleaning fee even though I’d stayed only one night. I tried to work it out with them, but they still charged the extra fee. I attached all the evidence. Please pass on this hotel if you don’t want a nightmare.

We’re wrapping up our stay in Unit 1106, and it’s been so relaxing to spend time in this condo with its gorgeous ocean view through a huge picture window. The two bedrooms and baths are lovely, and there’s a great kitchen and dining area, a comfortable living room, and a washer-dryer combo. We ate in often and had everything we needed in the kitchen.
