My family and I celebrated my mom’s retirement and my birthday at Wailea Beach Villas. We grew up vacationing on Oahu, so Maui was new to us, and this property really stood out. The team made a lasting impression. Scott and Chip were attentive and thoughtful, while Nicole and Lisa were so warm and made everything seamless from beginning to end. That level of hospitality doesn’t go unnoticed!

We loved the staff, who were so nice and welcoming and really made our trip special. The oceanfront penthouse was gorgeous, with three bedrooms and beautiful accommodations. We loved having a family pool for our little one and an adult pool for lounging. The workout facility was good, with two Peloton bikes. The whole outdoor mall is just steps away, so restaurants, coffee, and shopping were easy.

The property limits public access to the beach, with guards at the gates and at key entrances from the shops. Beach access should be easy for everyone. The Waldorf Astoria right next door doesn’t restrict it this way. This isn’t good for locals.

The beachfront trails go on for miles, great for an easy walk or exercise. The property is next to the upscale Shops Of Wailea, with restaurants, entertainment, and live music, and Grand Wailea Resort and Four Seasons are nearby too. The place feels magical, almost like a botanical garden, with palm trees, flowers, tropical plants, waterfalls, birds, and lovely walkways. The penthouses are spacious, quiet, and nicely decorated, with large furnished lanais. Most villas have ocean views, and the ocean is just steps away. There’s an infinity pool, a jacuzzi with an ocean view, lounging chairs, and outdoor massage steps from the ocean. Great location on sought-after Wailea Beach, with lots more to see.

Gimena was always nearby when we needed a hand, which made the whole stay easy. The hostel has a really welcoming feel, and I had a great few days here. I'd happily come back ;)
