We made it to the southernmost point in time for sunrise since the resort is only 20 minutes away. Naalehu is close too, and we had breakfast at the delicious Punalu'u Bake Shop. The room was clean and exactly what we needed after a long travel day. Even though we arrived late, the host had left our room details and an explanation of the property in case they’d gone to bed. They were still up, though, and gave us a quick look around before taking us to our room. Before checkout, our host kindly sat down for coffee and shared some great places to see on the island. Such a cute place, we’d highly recommend it!

The grounds were beautiful, and the dogs were friendly. We only needed a basic room, and this one was fine for us. After a disastrous ABnB rental, they took us in at the last minute for one night and treated us really nicely. The hosts were accommodating and shared some good ideas for things to do nearby. Green and Black beaches are very close, and the Volcano is within decent reach too.

There were lots of macadamia nut trees around the campground next to the hotel. The wifi worked fine, and using the bathroom was easy. I loved the dogs. I’d recommend it!

The rooms were nice, and there's a plantation where you can pick some nuts. Coffee was available in the morning, though for breakfast you'd need to go to Ocean View or another nearby town. The location is really good, close to Ocaen View and several beaches that are must-sees for Kona.

There’s no power at the campsites, but the main house has outlets and wifi. We also got some cell service around the property, though it seemed to be at LTE speeds. The campsites were nice, and I’d stay closer to the main house for easier access to the showers, washrooms, and other facilities. We found the price very reasonable compared with several other campsites. It’s a great location for Green Sands beach and reasonably close to the Volcano park.
