We were at Andruss Motel because of a family emergency, and Steve, the owner, made a difficult time much easier. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and cared for, instead of like we were just passing guests. We won't forget that kindness. The motel itself was quiet and cozy, with a peaceful spot in the Eastern Sierra. Our room was spotless, the beds comfortable, and the atmosphere relaxing. We'd recommend it without hesitation and will always remember how Steve treated our family.

Big bed, and such a cute, cozy place. I think the owner checked my husband and me in. He was really polite and friendly, and had great suggestions for things to do nearby.

The beds are really comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I've stayed at the Andruss Motel many times over the past seven years, usually while heading to Mammoth. It's in a great spot along the way, kept meticulously clean, and very cozy.

We came to Walker, Ca while dealing with the loss of a family member, and the owner made our stay easier during a hard time. He made my son and the rest of us feel like part of the place. When he noticed it was getting dark while my son, I, and some family and friends were playing corn hole, he said the boards lit up, then came back a few minutes later with light-up bags for us. I can't thank him enough. The rooms were lovely, the pool was wonderful, and the owner seemed like a really cool guy.

The shady grounds and mature trees were a welcome sight on a hot summer day, and the property is well kept and pet-friendly. We had stopped for a meal at Walker Burger and decided to stay next door at the Andruss Motel. The room was comfortable, the pool area had a resort feel, and the staff were friendly. It was also surprisingly quiet and peaceful. A charming old-style motel right on Highway 395. We'll stay again next time we're passing through.
