The room was okay, but the mattress felt old and bounced too much, and it left me with a backache. Breakfast was sparse, just waffles and no bread. The women at the front desk were really friendly, though, and offered free cookies and popcorn. Check-in was quick and easy.

We were there on 4/2/25 and stayed in Rm 30. Juanita at the desk was wonderful. The room was basic, with a small but adequate bathroom and a very nice shower. It was the cleanest hotel room we've ever had, and we travel cross country twice a year. Since it was off season, breakfast was simple: yogurt, juice, fruit, nuts, granola, and oatmeal. At check-in we were told the waffle and pancake makers weren't available off season. They gave us a pass for free pancakes at a local restaurant, but the light breakfast was enough for us. HIGHLY recommend this hotel if you're in Wall, SD. We'll definitely stay again!

The location is convenient, just 15 minutes from Badlands National Park, but there are plenty of other places to stay. We regret not choosing the Best Western across the street. It looked much nicer, and the price difference wasn't large. Inside, the rooms were very outdated and the hallways smelled awful. We arrived around 9:30 PM after two days on the road with our kids, ages 5 and 2, exhausted and ready for bed. The hotel door was locked. We pressed the button beside it, but nothing happened. A woman at the front desk was talking and laughing on the phone while we stood outside for ten minutes. Mosquitoes were biting us, and my daughter is allergic to them. She has welts on her arms and neck. One of the kids was screaming and crying because he wanted to go to bed. We finally put the kids back in the car and drove around to the front. My husband called the desk. She didn't answer, then called back and apologized, saying she'd seen us but hadn't realized the door was locked. He went in to check in, and before we even drove away, she locked the door again. She had seen us standing there with our kids, so I don't see how she could not have known it was locked. We later found the back door completely unlocked. I was stunned and felt like the front desk woman simply didn't want to work. Update: We had to take our daughter to urgent care because of the bites, and she needed three days of steroids. The hotel replied to my review but made no effort to contact us. I don't recommend this place at all. Stay clear!

The shower had the best water pressure I've ever had, though the showerhead sat a little low for my husband and worked well for me. Breakfast was filling and had both hot and cold options. The lobby and rooms were updated and clean, with no odors. We'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed one night and found the room clean, with a comfortable bed. The people at the hotel were helpful and lovely, and breakfast was good. There was Chibani yogurt, granola and other cereals, fresh berries, pancakes, and waffles. No hot eggs, bacon, or sausage, but that was fine for us. It's conveniently close to I-90 and a short walk from downtown Wall and Walk Drugs.
