Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista – Disney Springs® Area

The jacuzzi was the best part, especially after a long day at the park. We also liked how easy it was to walk to the springs. The last time I stayed, the experience felt better, though, and this visit left me frustrated. I understand fees go up as part of doing business, but usually guests get some benefit when prices rise. Here, parking and resort fees went up without improvements or added amenities. The gate code they gave me didn't work, so I had to go back. There was no microwave in the room, the TVs were old and remotes barely worked, and there were no complimentary waters or breakfast. Other hotels at the same price offer those things. We ordered several bar appetizers to share around 9:30 pm. The food was actually really good, but even though it wasn't busy, it took over an hour. Nobody checked in or spoke to us as a manager. The bartender was trying to do a million things alone and apologized. When we left to check out, our room door wouldn't lock. A housekeeper said it happened often. We were worried it might have stayed unlocked all night, but had no way to know. Small details can make or break a hotel. From what staff hinted, it seems like they're taking more away from guests while charging more for their own benefit. I get that it's business, but a busy hotel that isn't losing business could find a middle ground. Hopefully it will be different if we visit again.

The Garden room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the pool was lovely, and service was great. It felt like good value, and I'd stay again. The 24/7 lobby grab-and-go store was handy, and the coffee at the counter was very good. One of the best reasons to stay is the walking bridge beside the hotel that leads to Disney Springs. You can also register for free bus rides from the hotel entrance to and from the parks.

We needed a clean, no-frills place at a good price close to Disney Springs, and this was just right for our one-night stay. The bathroom was basic but clean, with white grout, which I always notice. Sheets and pillowcases were clean too. We didn't see the pool, and although we didn't use the park shuttle this time, it was nice knowing it was an option. Staff were pleasant, and the bellhop outside was great, loading our bags into the Lyft and opening the doors. That little extra service was appreciated. There's Joffreys coffee in the lobby, plus a room coffee maker, safe, and surprisingly large mini fridge. We'd definitely stay again for the cleanliness, location, and price.

Disney Springs is within walking distance, so the location was perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was a little dated but very clean. The pool was great, and the drinks at the poolside bar were really good. We didn't get to try the dining areas. Overall, a good stay, and I'd return.
