Buena Vista Inn

A friendly guy at the desk even got us an early check-in. We only stayed one night, and the quiet, clean room had everything we needed. It’s a quirky, funky motel in a quaint town, which I liked. Some parts still seem to be in transition, but it didn’t give me Bates Motel vibes.

Being close to the college means I can visit my son there, and I’m grateful for that opportunity. I’ve stayed here twice without any problems. The rooms are basic, but they’re clean. Thank you, and may God keep blessing this place so it can continue offering lodging to people who need it. Sometimes you have to appreciate what you have.

We ended up here because everything around Cooperstown was full for Hall of Fame Weekend, and it wasn’t in the area we’d hoped to stay. Still, it was so worth the drive. I’ve worked for an airline my whole career and stayed in more hotels than I can count, and this is one of the most charming, quiet, quaint places I’ve been. The room was clean, modern, and had everything we needed. The staff and owners were amazing, so friendly, and I’ll absolutely stay again if I need to be within an hour’s drive. Thanks for such a lovely stay. See you again!

Check-in and check-out were easy, and the beds were comfortable. It’s the closest motel to SUNY Delhi, about a five-minute drive from campus, and it’s near town and several gas stations. We only needed a quick stay, and the clean, comfortable room was just right. There’s a fridge and microwave in every room, plus electric car charging. I’d definitely come back.
