Rolling Hills Motel

Our furry companions felt right at home and behaved exceptionally well. The rooms were clean and welcoming, and the pet-friendly policy made staying with them a delight. Niki was exceptionally friendly and attentive to us. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for comfortable, welcoming accommodation.

The room was clean, easy to get to, and better than I’d expected from a motel. I felt safe there as a queer person, and Niki was wonderful. She clearly cares about her guests. I almost never leave reviews, but this stay made me want to say thanks. My partner and I wish we could’ve stayed another night.

I was golfing nearby and found this unexpectedly pleasant mom-and-pop motel. The price was very reasonable, and the room was quiet and comfortable. I arrived late, with the office closed and staff not there because the motel was full. They texted me, then sent a lockbox code after I provided photo ID. Don’t forget your reading glasses. The furnishings and fixtures look like they date to the sixties, and a few things, like the rusting radiator, show their age, but everything was spotlessly clean, including the fresh linens. The toiletry bundle was a real standout: along with shampoo and conditioner, it had body wash and a disposable toothbrush and toothpaste. Better than at the Hyatt. That was a blessing since I hadn’t expected to play another round in the morning. There aren’t many places to eat nearby, but Doc's Place, a biker bar a couple of miles up the road, was super cheap and had superb wings.

The only snag was slow WiFi. Otherwise, it was a great overnight stay at Rolling Hills, with very clean, nicely decorated rooms that had what we needed. Nikki was so kind to my friend and me. The price was great, and it’s close to outdoor activities. Highly recommend.
