The friendly welcome and the price are what earned my five stars. It was a good deal for Memorial Day weekend, and the breakfast was decent too. There was also a generous amount of sherry in the room carafe. This is a pleasant, basic place with courteous owners, though fussy B&B guests may not be happy here. I stayed one night over the 2017 holiday weekend.
Dave took great care of us, and the home cooked meal was wonderful. My family spent one night at the inn, and both the hospitality and accommodations were fantastic. I'd give the place ten stars if I could.
The rooms felt relaxed and clean, with a lovely New England setting that made me feel right at home. The people who run the place are wonderful. A perfect B&B.
David and Meg made the stay feel like a visit with family. They were always smiling and had a witty sense of humor. The rooms were clean, and the New and Improved England setting was quintessential. Wonderful stay.
