Suburban Extended Stay

A quiet place to sleep, and there’s laundry on site plus a pool for the hot summer and spring days. Breakfast runs 6-10am every morning. Check-in is at 4pm and checkout at 11am. You need a card for incidentals; if you pay cash, there’s a $150 refundable deposit that comes back at checkout.

We visited the first week of April. Breakfast was great, but the room was only okay, with a faint weed smell. The front doors were open to air the place out, and you could catch whiffs of weed there too. The tub needed cleaning, though we didn’t use it, and it was clear they hadn’t moved furniture to vacuum. Our pool view included broken-down pallets on the grass, and a woman near the parking area was smoking weed on a bench.

The whole property smelled like weed. The room stunk, the AC sounded like a jet, the shower nearly flooded, the TV was broken, and there was no soap in the bathroom. Yuck. I learned my lesson.

Every interaction, from the front desk to housekeeping and other staff I passed, felt warm, patient, professional, and sincere. You can tell they take pride in their work and care about people. I felt welcomed as a person, not just a guest, from arrival through the end of my stay. Thank you very much, comfort inn. I’ll definitely be staying with yall from now on ❤️
