Days Inn by Wyndham Warrensburg

The room was clean and a good deal for the price. I’ve heard this place has made big improvements, and it seems to be heading in the right direction, though there’s still work going on, like a light without a fixture. The entry and hallway felt a little creepy, but still better than Hotel 8.

I had to come from Wisconsin because my mother was seriously ill and I was her medical PoA. She passed away, and I stayed in room 117 the night before heading home. In the morning, the shower wouldn’t work at all. I called the front desk three times and got no answer. Corporate sent me to an AI that just told me to contact the front desk. It was the worst hotel experience of my life, and completely unacceptable. I want my money back.

The room was pleasant and the bed was comfortable. I also appreciated having an iron and ironing board, plus a hair dryer. The coffee and service were both good.

We paid over $600 for a week, and the breakfast has been a joke. The waffle machine hasn't worked any day we've been here, there have only been two or three little yogurt cups, and the juice machine is shut off. By the second day, the gallon of milk they'd put out had curdled. I wouldn't pay for another day here, even if I had money to waste.
