Hotel RL Washington DC

The location made exploring Washington, D.C. easy, with the metro nearby and attractions, shops, and restaurants within walking distance. The Quincy is right in the heart of the city. I spent ten days there and had a great experience. My room was bright, roomy, and kept clean throughout, and housekeeping did a fantastic job. The hotel felt inviting and well maintained. Staff were consistently polite, professional, and genuinely helpful. When a small issue came up, they dealt with it promptly and efficiently. I’d highly recommend The Quincy to anyone visiting.

The AC was sold out during last week’s storm, but I needed somewhere close to the firm I was remote working for. A coworker suggested the Quincy, and it turned out to be a delightful find at half the AC price. The rooms have kitchens, and the clean, well-equipped kitchenettes and brand-new interiors impressed me. The price was exceptional, and check-in and checkout were quick and easy. About 20 minutes after I settled in, the desk gentleman texted to make sure the WiFi worked and I had what I needed. There’s no formal restaurant, but the lobby has a decent selection of convenience foods, and there’s a bar serving typical bar food. I’ll book here again. I think this hotel could pleasantly surprise you.

The location was outstanding for the price, with attractions walkable and restaurants just a few blocks away. We asked for a quiet room on a higher floor and got one. It was large, with a narrow but functional kitchen and a small bathroom. The bed was good sized, and the new TV had HDMI inputs so we could connect a laptop and watch movies. Staff made the stay, especially Ephrem, who was kind, helpful, and always ready to pitch in. The front desk team were friendly, professional, and seemed genuinely glad to see us after a day of sightseeing. They offered wine, chocolates, and other treats in the evenings. A few room problems were fixed quickly: the deadbolt was repaired the next morning, and the toilet flush improved that same day, though it may have been a water-saving model with limited room for improvement. We couldn’t quite figure out the AC and heat settings, which seemed restricted to heating or cooling depending on the season. One night we would have liked some AC, but the fan they brought was enough. We weren’t sure whether the system actually came on. The toilet and temperature controls are why I’m giving four stars instead of five. We’d definitely return. Thanks for a great stay.

The staff were great with our two kids, ages 4 and 11, and both the front desk team and concierge were excellent. The concierge stayed in touch by text and offered advice or help with any issues. We spent four nights here and were pleasantly surprised. The location was excellent, and our clean, spacious room had a kitchenette with everything we needed. We’d definitely stay again.
