BLACK SWAN - Liz DC - Executive Flat

The kitchen was fantastic, with a stove and full-size refrigerator, and the suite itself was beautiful in a great location. But there’s no desk, no bedroom drawers, and no proper dining table, only a very low coffee table. I had to leave my clothes in the suitcase or pile them on the floor, even though there’s a spacious closet. The bathroom looked nice, but felt unsafe: no grab bars, and the step into the shower was too high and risky for anyone who isn’t a nimble young adult. Service was terrible. When I arrived at night, the lights would only all turn on or all go off. I called, and the polite person who answered didn’t know how to fix it and said I’d have to wait until the next day. I slept with all the lights on. The washer and dryer were handy, but when I called with a question, I was again told I’d have to wait for maintenance. The front desk person was friendly and helpful, just couldn’t handle the things I needed help with. Why not leave an instruction manual in the room?
