Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington DC NoMa Union Station

The shuttle was a big help, and the location made it easy to get to places we wanted to visit. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel and rooms were very clean, and breakfast was incredible. We’ve already booked another stay for March 2026.

The price felt right for what we got. Our room was clean, and if you’re comfortable walking half a mile, Union Market and public transport are conveniently close. Garage parking is available for a fee, though we didn’t have a car. The shuttle was useful too, just request it and it’s first come, first served. Lobby coffee and the free breakfast were fine. Breakfast had eggs, ham, white bread, bagels, and juice, but no waffles or pancakes. The main downside was people being loud and disruptive in the halls at night. I’d stay again.

The kitchenette was clean and had the items we needed. I liked that the hotel puts an emphasis on sustainability. My only real issue was that the room got a little cold at night, so I asked for extra blankets.

This was the worst hotel stay I’ve had. I booked three nights, and on arrival there was hardly any toilet paper. Housekeeping expected me to replace it myself, and the shampoo dispenser was empty. They say rooms are cleaned every two days, but when they did clean, they still didn’t refill the shampoo or leave even one bar of soap. I’ve never had service this poor.
