Quality Inn I-15 Red Cliffs

What upset me most was the way the front desk girl spoke to me. She came across as dismissive and unprofessional, and as a loyal Choice and Platinum member I expected more respect and better service. We stay at Choice hotels often, so this experience was especially disappointing. I was told we’d be charged a cleaning fee because the room was “dirty.” We try to be considerate guests: we leave used sheets in a corner, throw away our trash, and make things easier for housekeeping. My son got sick and threw up the day before. I couldn’t control that, but I cleaned it up right away and did my best to leave the room in good shape. We’ve been booking executive rooms because the regular ones had problems like outlets that didn’t work and door knobs falling off. That was already a disappointing first impression, but we still gave the hotel another chance. Being charged extra and treated this way as a family trying to do our best was upsetting. I hope management takes this seriously and improves how guests are treated.

The morning ended with no hot water for a shower, which was the last straw. Before that, street noise kept coming through, and the mini split's light was so bright it made sleeping difficult. The room was dim, smelled odd, and had big stains on both the carpet and luggage bench. I won't stay there again.

We picked this hotel over others for its location and the hot breakfast advertised on the website. The room was spacious enough for three adults in a double Queen room, but the breakfast was a letdown: there was no hot food apart from the waffle machine.

The staff were helpful, especially Suri, and when my TV broke they moved me to another room and gave me a small discount. The location is right among shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. The room was clean, though very old. Some outlets didn't work, the WiFi was spotty, and the linens were threadbare. I also found a strange wire inside the blanket. It wasn't terrible, but it was below average.
