Springhill Suites St. George Washington

The pools were fun, though as someone who's a "cold water wimp," they weren't warm enough for me. It was around 70 degrees and sunny during our stay, for context, so maybe it wouldn't matter in St. George's hot summer weather. The outdoor area with fire pits was lovely, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. A very family-friendly place.

The rooms were clean and well furnished, though the lighting was poor and there was some minor disrepair. Breakfast was good, and the pool area was great, with a regular pool, two jacuzzis, and a lazy river.

The area is easy to get around on foot, with views over a golf course and a gas station and restaurants close by. Breakfast is free and has plenty of choices. Our room was clean, the bathroom was huge, and the bed was comfortable. The shower was really nice too. I'd definitely stay again.

The location worked really well, at the bottom of one of St. George's nicest neighborhoods and near the central shopping district. Maybe it's St. George, but people were friendly, clean cut, and positive. Front desk service was excellent, including an accommodation for my injury that they offered without me asking, plus helpful suggestions for dining and walking. The buffet breakfast was very good, and the friendly, efficient staff had no trouble making me an egg white omelet. I'm a Marriott Titanium Lifetime member and thought this was an excellent SpringHill Suites. It's a standard SHS room. I'd give the room four stars only because watching TV from the desk is awkward, which isn't unique to this property.
