The Quincy, an Ascend Collection Hotel

The Quincy is in a handy spot, with at least two train stations nearby and pretty much everything within walking distance. The rooms have the basics, plus a kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, sink, and basic dishes and utensils. There was a little city noise, but it honestly wasn’t too bad and is what you’d expect in a metro area. I enjoyed my stay and would come back.

The room was a good size, updated, and comfortable, with an excellent galley kitchen, bar seating, basics for a quick meal, and a full-size refrigerator. The hotel also has a restaurant bar downstairs, a small cozy lobby, friendly staff, free popcorn, and a hot cocoa bar, at least in January. There’s a text the first morning to check on your stay, which helped me realize the blackout shade was tucked high behind the curtains. It’s close to a Metro station and there are a few places to eat nearby if you arrive late. Clean and straightforward. I’d stay again.

I usually stay at the AC, but I was pleasantly surprised by the Quincy Hotel on this business trip. The entrance isn’t especially fancy, but the staff are genuinely lovely and the location is central and convenient. The room was the best part, like a mini studio apartment. It was very spacious, with a kitchenette and a small walk-in closet. The bathroom was on the smaller side but very clean. I had a great stay and would definitely return.

Nahama made my stay at The Quincy Ascend Hotel. She greeted me with such a warm, genuine smile that I felt welcome right away, and it set a lovely tone for the visit. She was both professional and truly kind, took time to answer my questions, and shared useful local advice, from places to eat to transportation shortcuts and little details about the area. She also checked in during my stay to see if I needed anything. Every interaction felt sincere and uplifting. Her enthusiasm and knowledge made a good hotel visit a great one. I’m grateful for her care and service, and I’ll be back in large part because of her.
