White Fences Inn

I spent a few weeks here in April and had a great stay. Bailey the dog was part of the warm welcome from Liz and Eric. They served a lovely breakfast each morning, and there were home-baked cookies waiting in my room in the afternoons. The room stayed very clean, the bathroom amenities were wonderful, and the fireplace made chilly nights especially nice. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Breakfast with Liz was the best part of each day, and the bright, immaculate rooms were beautifully designed. My husband and I have vacationed in the Hamptons for years, but this B&B was far better than anywhere we’d stayed out east. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to plan another trip to White Fences, including another breakfast there.

The pool area is lovely, and breakfast looked great and tasted good. The inn has been updated throughout while keeping its traditional charm. It sits on the main road through the Hamptons, so there’s some noise, though most rooms are set back and stay quiet. The owners were always ready with directions or ideas for the day. We borrowed some first-rate, new beach equipment and went to a local beach. We’d stay again, if only to see Bailey, who’s an incredibly friendly and fun puppy.

We stayed at White Fences during the busy Labor Day weekend, and it was beautiful and pristine. Liz and Eric were extraordinary hosts, helpful and welcoming without getting in the way. They made the whole visit restful from arrival through departure. Breakfast was easily the best I’ve ever had at a bed and breakfast. It’s a wonderful place, and we’re certainly planning to return.
