Cass lake hotel

I couldn't book the room weeks ahead, which was the main drawback. The room itself was basic but the bed was comfortable. There wasn't coffee or a microwave or fridge, but $85 for a place to sleep on a holiday weekend night felt well worth it. I got the $10 key deposit back. I saw reviews mentioning bed bugs, but I never saw or encountered any. Sometimes I think people complain about everything. I'd stay again.

The room wasn't properly clean, and there were lots of gnats in the bathroom. I paid $90 for one night, which didn't feel worth it. When I brought it up at the front desk, the man argued with me instead of trying to fix the problem. This was my first stay, and it'll be my last.

The bathroom had a lot of mildew, and the bed was uncomfortable. The sheets had stains and burn holes. At first glance the room seemed nice, and the price was decent, but the front desk asked too many questions that felt too personal. I won't be coming back.

For around $65 for a two-bed room, I don't think the place is worth the price. The room should have been cleaned better, and the sheets in one of the bags didn't look changed. The bathroom itself was clean, but the sink faucet didn't work. I asked for more towels and was told they hadn't done laundry yet. The late-night cashier had to be woken up, which took almost 40 minutes, and she said I could wash and dry my own towels if I wanted any. I told the day cashier about all of it, but they didn't offer even a partial refund, despite my two-day stay.
