The night shift woman at the front desk was top-tier. After a stressful day of travel and having to leave another horrible hotel, she made check-in easy and was incredibly friendly. She never seemed annoyed and quickly found a solution when our room got hot and started smelling of smoke from the air conditioner in the middle of the night. The AC wasn’t working, and the room had reached about 80 degrees. They moved us right away to the adjoining room, which made the switch quick and easy, even with two sleeping kids at 1:30 a.m.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The elevator felt dangerously unsafe, like something out of Final Destination, and I don’t understand how it hasn’t been shut down. We had to move rooms three times. In the first, the toilet wouldn’t flush. The second had broken blinds and hadn’t been cleaned well. The third had a king bed and a pull-out sofa, which wasn’t what we paid for. The sofa had no bedding and was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. The bathroom was filthy, and there looked to be blood stains on the bed’s bedding. The night staff were rude and gave us a hard time when we asked for the manager’s contact information.

The one thing going for this hotel, which felt more like a motel, was that it was near the wedding venue. Everything else left me annoyed and disgusted, especially after paying over $400 for two nights. The room was dirty, particularly the carpet and shower, and there was almost no water pressure in either the sink or shower. I couldn’t wash my face or take a shower. We were also yelled at for trying to bring food to the room because “that’s how they get ants.” The staff were rude and barely spoke English. Do not stay here.

The room hadn’t been cleaned when I arrived. Dirty towels and washcloths and trash were left around. My card was also charged more than double what it should have been, even after the $100 holding fee. I was told at checkout the next morning that it would be fixed, but it took four days and many phone calls to sort out. The front desk help was kind and very helpful, but my experience with everyone else wasn’t good. I’d recommend staying somewhere else.
