Each morning of our three-day stay started with an incredibly good breakfast made from locally sourced ingredients. We also got to meet Ike one evening, the farmer who supplies the fresh local beef, pork, and eggs used at breakfast, which was a special touch. Marcus welcomed my wife and me warmly and showed us around his beautiful home. The rooms were comfortable, the property was gorgeous, and the location was wonderful. We had a great time at the Idylwild Inn and hope to return soon.

The rooms at idlwilde feel homey and unique, and breakfast was delicious, even better than we expected. Marcus, his wife, and the staff were wonderful hosts during our weekend there, November 22. We had an amazing experience and will definitely go back. If you're traveling to Watkins Glen and want a great place to stay, I'd recommend Idlwilde.

The yard was beautiful, with plenty of games to enjoy, and we loved eating the outstanding food on the lovely porch. Marcus and his wife made us feel comfortable from the start, and their sweet dog Stella was a cheerful welcome too. Marcus left a detailed list of good places to eat and a card with a QR code for his personalized winery experience. The hotel is right by a nice little town and the waterfalls we hiked, which made getting around convenient. This was one of my favorite trips, and staying here made it much better than a regular hotel stay.

The common rooms were beautifully decorated, with games and puzzles to use. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and the location is close to downtown. Marcus was friendly and helpful, with suggestions for food, wineries, and things to do, and made sure our stay went well. We loved it here and can't wait to return.

Our team of six stayed comfortably in this sprawling, ornate 1890's house, and there were still spare rooms. It has deep history, lots of rooms, and comfortable antique furniture. My bedroom was private, elegant, and plush. The breakfasts were hearty and delicious, and there was plenty of coffee. Marcus was friendly and helpful while giving us space. It made for a memorable, enjoyable stay.
