Seneca Clipper Inn

The manager was kind and helpful, and our room was very clean. The motel is conveniently placed for walking to Watkins Glen State Park and its beautiful gorge trails, as well as restaurants in town. There's also a beer and liquor store across the street. We were there this week and would definitely stay again.

I was in town for an amateur race at WGI, and this motel worked well for either the town or the track. It's clean, good value, and has plenty of convenient parking. The front desk staff were quick to appear, answered all my calls, and clearly explained things when I arrived late. It's a bit worn around the edges, sure, but that's not what matters to me here. Coffee and apples were a nice extra. I'd rather stay at a home-grown place like this than a national chain. If you want somewhere fancy to lounge around, this isn't it. For a place to sleep while you get things done, it's perfect.

We ended up here after having trouble with a room we'd booked for the weekend, and Alex was an awesome employee. He was helpful, kind, and caring. The room was clean and comfortable, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. We'll book here when we come back to the Finger Lakes.

Alex, the manager, was a huge help with our annual northeastern touring trip with a group of 20 Indian motorcycles. He helped us book the entire Inn and gave excellent service throughout our three days there. I'd recommend this place to anyone planning time in the Finger Lakes.
