El Rancho Motel

A nice little motel for one night, sleep and go. It was clean, updated, and smelled good, with no smoke smell. We had a TV, fridge, and coffee machine, but no coffee. The owner was friendly, and it was quiet at night and in the morning. I like two pillows, so having just one each wasn’t ideal. We’d stop again if we’re in the area.

Nobody’s here. How am I supposed to check in after paying $200 online? And about the response, LMFAO, I DID ring the doorbell. Then when I called this time, why did you sound like you’d just woken up at 4 pm? Smh.

I was here for work and was happy with the stay. I’ve tried different places in Watsonville, where noise has always been an issue for me, but this spot was peaceful and quiet. It’s a small quilt place, and the rooms feel a little old fashioned, though they’re doing some upgrades.

It’s clean, but very much a budget place, with upgrades that feel low end. Service was only minimally friendly. There’s a microwave in the lobby for guests, but no refrigerator in the room. The bed was uncomfortable, and the two flat pillows were stuffed into one case.
