The pool hours could run a little later, but the front desk staff were very welcoming. The place was clean and nicely decorated.

We went for a naval graduation, and the service made the trip so enjoyable. The front desk girl, whose name I’m pretty sure was Jamie, was incredibly helpful the whole time. She quickly answered everything we asked and arranged a shuttle to and from base that was both cheap and FAST. I’ve never had service like that before. She’s an all star. A big shoutout to George too. He fixed the hot tub when the warmer went to sleep and brought supplies when we asked. 50/10!

We chose this place after Navy gateway cancelled our reservation at the last minute, and the location was handy for dining. It also offers a shuttle to Naval Station Great Lakes Recruit Training Command, and cleaning staff were around every day. We stayed three nights for a boot camp graduation, and the staff appreciated our daughter’s commitment to serve. They quickly brought extra towels, agreed to an early check-in, and said yes when we asked for a cot. I’d stay again. It’s 10monutes to base, 35 minutes to O Hare with tolls, and 55 minutes without tolls.

I want Marriott to take this complaint seriously, address the problems at this property promptly, and make sure other guests don’t have the same experience. I expect the hotel to take full responsibility and resolve this with a refund for the affected nights and a formal apology from management. The quality, comfort, and care Marriott promises weren’t there. I dealt with several inconveniences, unsanitary conditions, and misleading communication.
