Holiday Inn Express & Suites Waukegan by IHG

We spent a week here after flying in from California for our son’s graduation. The suite was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel was close to the base. Having transportation for his graduation was a big reason we chose it. Housekeeping were friendly and kind the whole time. The breakfast was delicious, with a different selection each day. After graduation, my son really enjoyed the hot pool and jacuzzi. On our last day, we paid extra to check out at 6 p.m. and head straight to the airport, which worked out very conveniently. I’d absolutely recommend Holiday Inn to families traveling for their children’s graduation.

Pitri A. & Neesha W. were so sweet and helpful, and went out of their way to assist me. I really appreciated their care and the strong customer service throughout my stay. The location was convenient and close to everything. I had a fantastic visit at Holiday Inn Express, Waukegan, and would gladly stay here again or recommend it.

We stayed in a suite with a door separating the living room, which gave us some nice privacy. It’s about 25-30 mins from six flags. Breakfast was hot and included pancakes, eggs, sausage, potatoes, and more. The pool was a little cold but nice. The hot tub wasn’t hot on our first day; I told the front desk guy, and it was eventually fixed. The hotel was pretty nice overall.

The rooms were clean and smelled fresh, and the service was great. Breakfast was a hot buffet with lots to choose from, including the pancake machine my grandson loves, so there was something for everyone. The pool itself was cold and not heated, but the hot tub was warm and nice. It was a little pricey for one night, though I was glad we chose it. Great America is only about 3 miles away.
